Well Drilling - Why?

Well Drilling - Why?

Many people living in the remote and unreached parts of W. Africa are in great and urgent need of secure sustainable access to safe potable drinking water supplies.  Average life expectancies can be as low as 34 years in some of the villages where we have drilled, primarily due to insufficient access to safe drinking water.

Women collecting water for their families often walk through the bush for 3-4 miles just to collect contaminated water.

With access to a well drilled by Friends In Action much needed help is given preventing:

Sickness, suffering, poor health, crops failing...

Also mothers won’t have to spend so much time away from:

The home, family, the farm, work, education...
