New Team Centre – Ivory Coast

In October 2023, a team of 5 very skilled and talented tradesmen from N. Ireland volunteered 2 weeks of their time to help work on the new team centre.  It was a busy and intense time in extreme heat and humidity, but the Lord greatly helped and the team were able to fully wire and plumb the new team centre, make and fit a new kitchen and do some landscaping.   The team enjoyed working with several local men; it was amazing to see the Lord use the various skills of all the men to develop the centre.

A work team of 7 men from N. Ireland helped out in February 2024, with an amazing amount of maintenance work to the drilling rig and equipment being completed, along with further yard development works to the field base and a series of well pumping tests.  Some test drilling was also undertaken with the drilling rig following the maintenance.  Lord willing, the next team of volunteers will drill wells in Ivory Coast in January 2025, followed by another team in February 2025.

Over recent months, Mark has helped to facilitate outreach and teaching meetings in the village near our yard and in other remote villages.  It was such an encouragement when one young man at the close of one of the meetings chose to be a disciple of Jesus Christ and got saved!
